The Maldives is an area for fishing with trolling and ledge line thanks to the great quantity of fish. The most common prey are blue marlin and sail fish, large tuna, lampuga, barracuda and wahoo for live bait fishing, and grouper, snappers and emperor fish for ledger line fishing.
On board of one of our dhonys which have been designed for fishing, fishing trips at dawn and sunset will be organised. Also every transfer is a good occasion to dedicate yourself to this sport. Large rear cock-pit area which is ideal for trolling fishing. On board local fishing equipment is available for trolling and ledger line fishing as well as the necessary bait to obtain enthusiastic results.
